These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of www.spiritualgurus.ai and any related AI features, chats, and content (together, the "Service"), operated by Spiritual Gurus AI ("we", "us", or "our"). By accessing or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1. You are interacting with an artificial intelligence system

The Service uses artificial intelligence, including large language models, to generate conversational responses and other content. You are interacting with an AI system, not a human being, a religious authority, or a licensed professional. AI responses are produced automatically and are clearly presented as AI-generated. We provide this notice in the interest of transparency and in line with applicable AI-transparency obligations (such as the transparency principles of the EU AI Act).

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 16 years old to use the Service. If you are under the age of majority in your jurisdiction, you may use the Service only with the involvement and consent of a parent or legal guardian. The Service is not directed to children.

3. Your account

When accounts become available, you are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your credentials and for all activity under your account. Notify us promptly of any unauthorised use.

4. Nature and limitations of AI-generated content

Responses from our AI agents are generated by large language models trained on authentic texts and other data. Because of how these models work, AI-generated content:

  • may be inaccurate, incomplete, outdated, or "hallucinated" (confidently stated but false), and may differ from traditional or scholarly teachings;
  • reflects patterns in training data and does not represent our opinions or beliefs;
  • is provided for educational, reflective, and informational purposes only, and should be independently verified before you rely on it.

You are responsible for how you use and interpret AI output. Treat it as a starting point for reflection, not as an authoritative, professional, or definitive source.

5. Spiritual guidance is not a substitute for professional care

The Service offers educational and reflective content drawn from spiritual traditions. It is not a substitute for licensed medical, mental-health, psychological, legal, financial, or religious professional advice, diagnosis, or treatment. Never disregard or delay seeking professional advice because of something you read on the Service. 6. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • Use the Service for unlawful purposes or in violation of these Terms.
  • Attempt to disrupt, reverse-engineer, or gain unauthorised access to the Service.
  • Submit content that is defamatory, hateful, harassing, or infringing.
  • Use automated means to scrape or harvest content without our permission.
  • Attempt to manipulate the AI into producing unlawful, harmful, or deceptive output, or to bypass its safety measures.

7. Prohibited and high-risk uses

The Service is a general-purpose reflective tool and is not designed or authorised for high-risk or safety-critical decisions. You must not rely on the Service, and must not use its output, as the basis for:

  • medical, psychological, or health diagnosis, treatment, or decisions;
  • legal, financial, tax, or immigration decisions;
  • any decision producing legal or similarly significant effects on a person (for example, employment, credit, insurance, housing, or education eligibility);
  • emergency, life-safety, or other situations where errors could cause harm.

We do not use the Service to carry out automated decision-making that produces legal or similarly significant effects on you.

8. Your data and privacy

Our collection and use of personal data is described in our Privacy Policy, which forms part of these Terms. Do not submit sensitive personal data (for example, health, biometric, or precise financial information) into AI chats. Where we use inputs to operate or improve the Service, we do so as described in the Privacy Policy, and you may exercise the data-protection rights explained there.

9. Intellectual property

The Service's original content, design, and code are owned by Spiritual Gurus AI and protected by copyright and other laws. Sacred texts referenced are in the public domain or used under fair-use principles with attribution. Subject to these Terms, and to the extent we hold any rights in it, we grant you a personal, non-transferable licence to use AI-generated output for your own lawful, non-commercial purposes; you remain responsible for verifying and using it appropriately.

10. User content

If you submit content (feedback, questions, profiles), you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to use it to operate and improve the Service. You retain ownership, and you confirm you have the rights necessary to submit it.

11. Fees & subscriptions

Pre-launch, the Service is free. Subscription plans will be governed by separate terms presented at the time of purchase.

12. Termination

We may suspend or terminate access for violations of these Terms. You may stop using the Service at any time.

13. Disclaimers & limitation of liability

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, including as to accuracy or fitness for a particular purpose. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or for any reliance on AI-generated content. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law, and your mandatory statutory or consumer rights are not affected.

14. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction of our incorporation, without affecting any mandatory consumer-protection rights available to you in your country of residence. Disputes will be resolved by the competent courts of that jurisdiction.

15. Changes to these Terms

We may revise these Terms from time to time. We will update the "Last updated" date above, and material changes will be signposted where practicable. Continued use after changes take effect means you accept the revised Terms.
